Congratulations to the 2026 World Cup Winners

Congratulations to the 2026 winners of the World Cup: Wendy Cannings and Colin Copp. The cup was presented to the winners by Neil Barron (Chairman).

The runners up were: Mike Copp and Richard Webb. Well done to everyone else who participated and those who came to watch.

Sunday 20 September was also the last day of the outdoor season. The green is now closed and work on winter maintenance of the green has started.

Congratulations to Chardstock who are the 2026 Division 2 Champions in the Women's Triples League and are promoted to Division 1.

Well done to Rosie, Gill, Eileen, Debbie, Carole, Nicky, Helen, Penny, Vanessa and Jeanette who all took part in the League and made it such a successful season.

It all came down to the last match of the season to decide whether Chardstock or Tiverton Canal would win Division 2. Chardstock had been leading Division 2 for most of the season and were only one point ahead of Tiverton Canal before the last match. Both teams needed at least 4 points in the last match to win the title. It was a very close match with both Chardstock and Tiverton Canal teams winning one game and 2 points each. The title was only decided in the very last end with Chardstock scoring enough total shots to win the overall points.

Congratulations to Tiverton Canal who are also promoted to Division 1.
