Congratulations to the 2026 Silver Jubilee Cup winners

Congratulations to the winners of the Silver Jubilee Cup: Colin Williamson, Wendy Cannings, Penny Rasch. The runners up were: Cedric Wyatt, Nicky Mugridge, Jon Pratt who only lost to the winners by 1 point. We had lots of spectators on the day and had to bring out extra chairs from the Clubhouse for them.

I think everyone really came to enjoy the cream tea served after the match. The home made scones were baked by Sue Wilton, and served with clotted cream and home made jam made by Penny Rasch. It was the first time we had been able to host an event in our newly extended and carpeted Clubhouse.

The next Club Competition is the Golden Jubilee Cup which is on Sunday 5 July starting at 2.00pm.

Bowls Devon Mixed Pairs Competition

Well done to Gill Campbell and Cedric Wyatt who beat Madeira 18-13 in their Devon County Mixed Pairs on a very wet afternoon. They are through to Round 3 of the competition and will play a team from Ottery St Mary.

Chardstock through to 2nd round of the Men's Foxlands Devon County competition

Well done to Chardstock for getting through to the 2nd round of the Men's Foxlands competition. They beat Feniton 33-27 in the 1st round and will play Sidmouth Blue on Thursday (4 June).
